So, we survived San Francisco even though we didn't know much about it before we arrived. We saw a lot and had tons of fun in a relatively short time, but the traffic on the way out of town nearly did me in. Then, just after we had outlasted the traffic (about 1 1/2 hours of exhaustion later), we thought we were in the clear until the sun about disappeared.
The wildfire in Napa Valley darkened the sky significantly over I-5 and his the sun behind a reddish haze, but thankfully were not an actual threat to us.
